I've wanted to do a double-header tour with another solo artist for a long time, but I needed to wait until I found the perfect person. Finally I heard cellist Jo Quail, and it was like the doors and windows in my mind all blew open. She shares my vision of striving to use one instrument, and a load of technique, to create a sound as big and deep and detailed as possible, to build a world around the listener. Hopefully the two of us on the same show will be a special experience.
